A positive employee is just one ingredient to making a successful company, but proper training and certification is is equally important. All our technicians are certified in their profession and receive consistent education in the cleaning industry.  All our employees undergo stringent background checks and screening.

Giving Back To The Community: Mark Skoda "The Owner" is an active member of the Medina community chamber of commerce and also a contributor to foundations such as Cleaning For A Reason and Cathy's House. Mark Skoda has been a board member of Cathy's House since its inception, but was appointed director in 2015. Understanding how important our community is Mark and his wife Bonnie donate products and services to many local fundraisers throughout the year.

How We Started:

Mark's Cleaning Service was established in 1984 by Mark Skoda and remains family owned and operated. Mark began his company as a 1 truck carpet cleaning operation in Medina, single-handedly cleaning a number of office buildings between carpet jobs. In addition to operating his new business, Mark began to advertise in the local newspaper and pass out flyers whenever he could. By 1986, the company was quite busy cleaning day care centers in Akron, as well as factories in Medina's industrial district. While his business expanded throughout Northeast Ohio Mark added a multi-truck residential cleaning operation, supporting over 50 employees. During 1998 Mark purchased a 5000-square-foot facility in Medina and added in-house Oriental Rug Cleaning, as well as a state-of-the-art truck-mount carpet cleaning machines. For years to come Mark continued to strengthen our residential presence, adding several cleaning divisions offering Maid Service, Window Cleaning and Air Duct Cleaning to our clients. Mark's Cleaning continued to grow by 2011 operation was in full swing with over 100 outstanding employees cleaning over 2 million square feet per day.  Today we celebrate 35 years of business and plan for many great years of service ahead!
