Company History

• 1984 - Mark Skoda founded a commercial cleaning business in Medina specializing in carpet and janitorial. 
• 1990 - The company expanded to include a multi-truck Residential Carpet Cleaning operation, supporting over 50 employees. 

• 1993 - We became what we are today: a full-service BSC (Building Service Contractor), providing Water Damage Restoration, Janitorial Services, Commercial Floor Cleaning, and Window Cleaning.
• 1996 - In '96, we expanded and strengthened our presence by adding Maid Service and a Day Porter Service 
• 1998 - We purchased a 5000 sq. ft. facility in Medina, and we added in-house Oriental Rug Cleaning, as well as a state-of-the-art truck-mount carpet cleaning machines.
• 2011 - Our team expanded further to more than 100 outstanding staff members.
• 2014 - Mark's Cleaning celebrated 30 years of outstanding service in a ribbon cutting with Mayor Hanwell.
• 2015 - Mark was appointed Board Director of a local halfway house.
• Today Mark's Cleaning Service cleans over 1.5 million square feet per day!

• Mark's Cleaning utilizes ProTeam backpack vacuums. HEPA Multi-filtration vacuuming can improve indoor air quality by removing 99.79% of dust, dirt, bacteria, and mold. This high efficiency vacuuming provides air filtering down to 3 microns.
• We also utilize Microfiber Flat Mop Systems. Flat Mop Systems improve efficiency in floor care and soil removal. Durable microfiber mop pads can withstand more cleanings than traditional cotton mops, helping to lower operating cost. Microfiber mops are very absorbent, holding up to 6 times their weight. The microfiber creates a surface friction that provides superior soil removal and retention compared to traditional cotton mops. They are naturally bacteria resistant.
• Our Microfiber Cleaning Cloths utilize a Color Coded System to eliminate cross-contamination. They provide superior cleaning through friction and static attraction. They also reduce the amount of cleaning solution needed. 

​In addition to Carpet Cleaning and Janitorial Services, Mark's Cleaning offers Air Duct Cleaning, Window Cleaning, Floor Stripping and Waxing, Maid Service, and Water Damage Restoration in the case of a flood or emergency. Mark's Cleaning will provide you with a more productive workplace.
