When we go to work we are exposed to a number of germs, especially when flu season rolls around. Unfortunately, people do come to work sick, and they touch a variety of surfaces while they’re there. In shared spaces like bathrooms, conference rooms, and break rooms germs will linger on tables, keyboards, door handles, and any hard surface for a long period of time. There are some things you can do to help prevent getting sick and from spreading germs to others.
Wash Your Hands This is the simplest, yet best way to prevent getting sick year-round. In the winter viruses can remain active for longer due to the colder temperatures, so frequent handwashing should be a top priority.
Keep Your Space Clean A clean workspace can help minimize germs, especially in high touch points if they are being disinfected regularly. Help reduce the spread of germs in your building throughout the day by implementing some easy cleaning steps.
Take Care of Yourself Staying healthy is possible - even during cold and flu season, but you have to put some extra effort into caring for yourself.
